Looking back we were very proud to have received the Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor ® 9 years in a row, which meant Ruchetta were awarded to the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.

"Six of us had a fabulous early evening meal. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean, atmospheric restaurant. A very popular place. We ordered mixed starters, which is a great way to try a bit of everything. The Fritti Misto was particularly good, as was the Burrata. I had Scoglio as a main. One of the best Italian dishes I have ever had! The base of black tagliolini was lovely and the mixture of seafood simply superb. Scallops to die for (maybe a tad dramatic, but they were stonkingly good). My wife had one of the specials of the day a venison pasta thing, which also went down well. A couple of bottles of wine also went down well. The portions are reasonably substantial. We didn’t make desert! It’s a popular restaurant, so well worth booking. Can’t wait to re-visit!"

"Best restaurant in Wokingham! We recently had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Ruchetta! The restaurant is very intimate and romantic and the service fantastic! I can honestly say this is one of the best meals we have ever had. We cannot wait to go back!!"
"Ruchetta continues to be one of our favourite restaurants. We recently visited for a meal with friends and Angelo and the whole team are absolutely superb. The ambience and setting is very warm, welcoming and friendly, the service just the right balance of attentiveness without being OTT. The food is just the best combination of superb quality ingredients and recipes that are a good blend of traditional Italian cooking with a contemporary twist. Wine selection is also very good and overall result is just superb. It is not often that you eat out and feel nothing could have been better - but Ruchetta achieves that!"
"A special celebration yesterday and we were looked after so well by Angelo, Ben and Katrina (plus the all important hidden talented team in the kitchen). An excellent evening with delicious food and wine. The quality and presentation of the dishes are what keep bringing us back. The menu has changed recently with some tweaks to the "classics" and as always there is a specials board. The ravioli fritti are superb with a little kick from the n'duja; it's an unusual addition but boy are they good! The fish dishes were succulent, full of flavour. Portion size is always good. Excellent wine list but do ask Angelo for advice/suggestions. We have never been disappointed."
"We have relatives in Wokingham so visit this restaurant regularly. Frankly, I wish I could pick it up and move it up to NW3, London where we live. The service is the best I've ever experienced, the wine list is sensible and I just can't fault this place at all."

"Where to start. This places reputation precedes it in the town and it's richly deserved. A classic Italian restaurant that, whilst not the cheapest in town, never fails to deliver. Staff, food and service are all excellent. Make sure you ask the waiters recommendation as they really do know what they are talking about and if they are unsure they will say so and get the team to assist - always a sign of quality. If we want a treat for any excuse .. we go here"
"Angelo and his team made us feel very welcome! We had the best experience and our taste buds received a wonderful selection of hand picked truffles and porcini mushrooms, delicious sauces and deserts that were mouth-watering."
"We have been coming to Ruchetta for years and it is always great for a romantic, special meal. The service is faultless and the food delicious. There are various rooms so I don't feel it is crowded. The trio of mushrooms with a poached egg was perfect and the sea bass was well cooked and delicious as was my husbands monkfish. The tiramisu and lemon posset were lovely too. It's expensive but worth it for a special occasion."
"I love this place, my partner and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month as it's the best place in Berkshire to eat by far! This is a proper Italian, don't go here thinking this is Zizzis or Pizza Express type food as you will be disappointed. What you get is an interesting menu with great dishes and little twists, excellent choice of wines and attentive service. Angelo and his team certainly have something special we have been dining here for over 7 years on a very regular basis so that speaks volumes in itself!"

"I'm ten years old and I love going to Ruchetta. Ruchetta is the best restaurant that my family and I have been to in Wokingham. We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining in this beautiful market town. We have been many times and have never been disappointed. Sometimes you go out and say to yourself nothing could be better than the last restaurant that you went to- but Ruchetta could beat that every time. We are very happy that we chose to go to Ruchetta because it is amazing, the service is great and the food is the best food that you have ever tasted in your life. We are definitely going back to Ruchetta."
"I find this little gem of a restaurant a pleasure to visit. The Angelo and team are very attentive, nothing is too much bother. The food is to die for with good quality wines. Not the cheapest restaurant in Wokingham. Don’t think you can just walk in at the weekend."
"We really loved the food and service of this restaurant. It is a lovely little gem right in the middle of Wokingham town centre. We ordered the carpaccio and beef tartar as a starter - delicious. We both then had the special lemon sole - absolutely amazing. The wine selection is vast. The atmosphere is romantic and the restaurant makes you feel like you are dining in Italy. 5 star service with 5 star food. Thank you for a lovely evening."
